3. Conveying liquid medium
The liquid medium conveyed by the pump is a key consideration in the selection of pneumatic booster pumps. The material and hydraulic sealing ring of the hydraulic part are determined by the liquid medium conveyed. Pumps can be used with oil, water, and most liquid media. The main hydraulic sealing rings of the standard pump are neoprene and polyurethane, and the one-way valve seat is sealed with Teflon. Other sealing materials include fluorocarbon compounds and ethylenepropylene, which are mainly used for conveying special media. 4. Acceptable volume and weight For certain applications, the external dimensions and weight of pneumatic booster pumps and power units should also be given special consideration.
