visionPDX RESOLUTION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Here you can read the visionPDX resolution that was unanimously accepted by Portland City Council on September 19, along with all the associated documents. Click here to read more.
visionPDX COMMUNITY INPUT SUMMARY
This report is the most direct reflection (other than the database) of community input. It will ultimately be approximately 300 pages summarizing all of the 21,000 pages of data read by visionPDX volunteers, encapsulated by the visionPDX Drafting Committee, and refined by staff to make it accessible for readers and organized by themes. For Sept. 19th, we will present an abridged version of the nine main areas: health, economy, social issues, environment, education, urban livability, government, transportation, public safety-to present to Council. Click here for details.
visionPDX COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT REPORT
This report serves the purpose of highlighting visionPDX's emphasis on community involvement, with vibrant stories of community engagement over the two visionPDX engagement phases, along with some principles of community involvement to pass on to other projects. Click here for the report.
visionPDX PHONE SURVEY
visionPDX contracted with Davis, Hibbits & Midghall, Inc., a local
opinion research firm, to conduct a phone survey to assess attitudes of
Portand residents towards our city's future and reactions to potential
action steps in implementing our vision. This report highlights the principal
findings, including notable subgroup variations. Click
here to read the survey results.
